Some conversations don’t just reaffirm why we do what we do—they reignite the fire behind it.
I recently sat down with two inspiring ITBD leaders, Namit Harish and Pritam Das, on our Culture and Career Corner podcast. What started as a simple journey-share quickly transformed into something much more profound—an honest, powerful reflection on leadership, personal growth, and what it truly means to be part of a people-first organization.
From Day One to Today: Journeys That Inspire
Both Namit and Pritam have grown into exceptional leaders at IT By Design, but what stands out is how grounded they remain in their values and purpose.
Namit shared how every new hire at ITBD crosses his path—and how that has been a growth experience like no other. Connecting with diverse people from various walks of life, he’s built leadership muscle not just from experience, but from exposure to different mindsets, belief systems, and values. And through it all, he credits ITBD for providing a platform that supports and accelerates that kind of evolution.
Pritam’s story is equally powerful. Over eight years, he’s journeyed from Advanced System Administrator to Associate Service Delivery Manager. He called it an “emotional journey” and “a pool of opportunities”—a testament to the doors that open when talent meets the right environment. But the true magic? His belief that our culture doesn’t just create leaders—it reveals them.
So, What Makes ITBD’s Culture Different?
This part of the conversation made me pause and smile—because hearing them describe ITBD culture, in their own words, felt like hearing my own heart speak.
Pritam broke it down with clarity and conviction:
- No bosses—only leaders.
- A relentless drive for improvement.
- A deep-rooted commitment to giving back.
Whether it’s mentoring within the team, donating clothes in winter, or offering yoga and mental health sessions every Friday—Pritam captured the spirit perfectly. “We don’t just care,” he said. “We show up.”
Namit described our culture as a “collaborative mechanism.” One team. One spirit. No silos. No egos. Just people working together toward a shared vision.
That’s who we are. That’s the heartbeat of ITBD.
Life Lessons That Go Beyond the Job Description
I always ask this question in every conversation: What life lessons do you want to share with the world?
Because in a learning organization like ours, wisdom is the real ROI.
Pritam shared some golden insights:
- The Four Wheels of Life: Health, Career, Relationships, and Legacy—our foundation for balance and clarity.
- Acknowledge effort, not just results: Whether at work or home, recognize the grind.
- Own everything you do: No excuses. Be accountable. Be intentional.
- Keep learning, always: Longevity isn’t just about sticking around—it’s about evolving.
Namit’s reflections were equally impactful:
- Be intentional: With your values, your goals, your day. Don’t live by accident—live on purpose.
- Strive for excellence: Whatever you do, do it with your whole heart.
- Do what you can, with what you have, where you are: A reminder that impact doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. It begins now.
When We Grow, Everything Grows
What I loved most about this conversation was how clearly it showed that growth isn’t a destination—it’s a responsibility.
When I grow, I create room for others to grow.
When you grow, you create room for those around you.
That’s what leadership is. That’s what community is. And that’s what ITBD is all about.
To everyone reading this:
Keep growing. Keep learning. And most importantly, stay intentional. Because your personal evolution is the starting point of every ripple effect you’ll ever make in this world.
And to Namit and Pritam—thank you. Your stories are the reason ITBD continues to rise.
Let’s keep building. Let’s keep becoming.
