Chandigarh, India – April 15, 2021 – IT By Design, (ITBD), a market leader for providing engineering talent to IT service providers, announced today that it has extended its work from home policy. The extended Work from Home Policy will apply from April through December 2021 for all ITBD employees.
“When we adjusted our strategy and asked our employees to work virtually, back in March 2020, we didn’t know what course the pandemic would take. The good news is that over the last 12 months, we, as a close-knit community, have learned how to work better virtually. We’ve adapted. Now, we are extending our work from home policy till the end of this year that will lead to greater employee wellbeing something that has always been part of our workplace philosophy,” said Sukhjinder Singh, Director of Service Delivery at IT By Design, India.
The decision was taken by the company leadership after the assessment of the current COVID landscape in the country. Following the announcement, the IT infrastructure company postponed its “back to office plan” till the end of this year. “Our people’s health, safety, and well-being are our top priority. Even before we began working from home last year, we had proactively taken many steps to promote and enable social distancing in our work environments. The current WFH extension plan is part of the same gesture,” Sukhjinder signs off.
