Angela Evangelista, a senior executive assistant at ITBD, shared her fulfilling experience with the company. Despite being with the team for a relatively short period, she felt a strong sense of connection and belonging. The supportive and engaging community allowed her to establish meaningful relationships, making her feel as though she had been part of the team for much longer. 

For Angela, the culture at ITBD was best described with one word: intentionality. The company’s deliberate efforts to foster professional growth and build strong relationships have been pivotal.

 She emphasized the importance of integrity in her role, prioritizing honesty and authenticity in every interaction. Angela’s advice to upcoming professionals was to embrace integrity, as it allowed one to navigate challenges with confidence and remain true to their values. 

Randall Angala: Fostering Accountability and Humility 

Career Journey With IT By Design 

Randall Angala, a seasoned trainer with over 20 years of experience, spoke about his rewarding journey at ITBD so far. Specializing in voice and accent training, Randall valued the warm, community-centric environment at the company where everyone knew each other. He believes that his role in developing talent and preparing engineers for the MSP channel has been impactful, positively influencing career trajectories. 

Randall used the word ‘accountable’ to describe the culture at ITBD. The company’s commitment to addressing concerns and delivering on promises has resonated deeply with him. 

Key Life Lesson 

He highlighted the significance of attitude over skills, advocating for humility and kindness as essential traits for success. Randall’s message to emerging professionals was to remain humble, as genuine humility fostered positive relationships and long-term success. 

Macy Palacio: Thriving in a Family-Oriented Culture 

Career Journey With IT By Design 

Macy Palacio, the technical team leader for the MSP team at IT by Design’s Philippine site, shared her unique experience. Coming from various IT companies, she found IT by Design’s emphasis on family and personal growth refreshing. The supportive culture and continuous learning opportunities had made her journey both challenging and enjoyable. 

For Macy, the culture at ITBD was encapsulated in the word: family. In his opinion, the strong sense of camaraderie and mutual support sets the ITBD community apart.

He highlighted the importance of continuous learning and embracing feedback for personal and professional growth. Macy advised professionals to stay curious, constantly evolving with the latest trends and practices to remain competitive in their fields.
